However, in the 308 I wanted more accuracy, so I purchased a Wilson Combat Ranger Fluted barrel. Its 5 oz heavier than the Faxon pencil, but I expect better accuracy (haven't installed it yet). I shoot 100% suppressed on all rifles. However, I also see that they are selling a CMV, chrome lined version of this barrel.
