Sort of like that old "how to draw an owl" meme, they skip a lot of steps. Chilton/Haynes on the other hand explain things a bit too much and often have you do unnecessary disassembly, but by and large are better for beginners imo.

A 13mm bolt and a 15mm bolt are huge. they would be like 1/2 or bigger. the thread size is probrably 5/16 or 3/8. The head size has nothing to do with how much torque it can take.Also are you sure your torque wrench is working properly? Patrick
