WebThe base game relies mostly on events to make WW2 happen historically, but leave a lot of room to deviate from history if you so desire. HOI3: more of a wargame than DH with more emphasis on division composition and tactical decisions. The AI seems easier because it can't employ all the tactics humans use. WebHoi3 has more base complexity overall and is much more of a historically focused WW2 simulator at its core. Graphics aren’t as nice and the UI can seem a bit dated. If you’re looking for a hardcore WW2 strategy and like organizing large amounts of units and planning out orders of battle then HoI3 will probably be your cup of tea.
