Web11 jun. 2024 · In my VW TDI (diesel) models I've owned over the years, the indicated speed was high by 2.5 MPH with stock rims and tires. The speed reported by the instrument cluster module was always dead-on. The odometer reading was also dead-on. Just the indicated speed on the speedometer was biased high in order to comply with the law.
