John I. WebbBLASTING Blasting with soda media is an excellent way to clean baffles. A blast cabinet or handheld soda blaster is required for this method. DO NOT blast parts with glass bead, aluminum oxide, or other hard media; this will etch and damage your components. Note that your media will become exposed to lead during this process.

Webb13 feb. 2013 · SONICJK nailed it. Rule of thumb, it takes 5 hp to pump enough air. 10 CFM @ 90 psi is the consumption rate of these blasters. You should have a compressor that puts out 12-13 CFM @ 90 psi.
