WebJul 20, 2015 · Multiplayer: if Frame skip on i get tons of lag 2-18 fps // off i got 30-60 frames but its in slomotion. Multicore Lightning= Gives me some Frames, not much. Tried a Clean Reboot, Install// Reinstall Xna Framework, Framework 4.5.2. Reinstalled Terraria, deleted every Terraria thing on my Pc, includes "C:\Users\home\Documents\My Games\Terraria". WebJun 29, 2011 · The game may work better if you set your monitor's refresh rate to 60 Hz and turn frameskip off in the Terraria settings menu. At least worked for me. I use dedicated server. This fixes an issue where the server and the client have different framerate (speed) for the game. If the memory estimate in the mods menu is less than 2GB, then you should be good. The unofficial 64-bit tModLoader makes the application 64-bit which doesn't have this RAM limit. (Also, the official 1.4 tModLoader will be 64-bit by default when it is released.)

I'm getting approximately 40fps while still, and a choppy 20-30fps when moving, less if I'm traveling fast through a dense area with lots of terrain features.
