WebNov 28, 2014 · the oil pan seal leaking would not put oil on the top of the bellhousing. double check the half moon in the back. never take a shops word for it. yes dropping the pan on a ifs toyota is a little hard to do but can be done without unbolting the ifs crossmember. dont use a cork gasket, they dont last long, RTV, or toyota FIPG.
